This is a photo of my mom about 20 years ago. Last Friday (May 3rd), our little family found out that, at 53, she has oesophagus cancer, which had been the reason for being so ill as of late. Up until that day I had only seen my father cry once before in my lifetime.
On May 7th I got a call from my father after they had gone for a CT scan and was told that she not only has oesophagus cancer, but also liver & brain cancer as well. She is also having seizures and problems with her legs, so walking, especially up and down stairs, will no longer be a possibility. My mother has not been able to eat solids for awhile and the small amount of liquids she is getting, is not enough to sustain her sick body. She is suppose to begin chemo and radiation treatment as soon as possible, and goes in for surgery next week to have a feeding tube placed into her stomach. This is where we need some help & love… Both of my parents are now off of work which means that there is no money coming in. I’m also going to have to be helping my father keep the house together which means I wont be able to work as much as usual. I’m the only child so it is just us and my mom’s sister/ dad’s brother at the moment (and we’re lucky to have them during these times) but there are many things that need to be paid for, and this is short amount of time are already beginning to pile up. Aside from the usual every day costs of bills, groceries, mortgage payments there is a lot more we will need help with. My parents live in an old house with only one washroom so my father is beginning to make a bathroom on the main floor, bringing her bedroom down to the main floor, as well as looking for a hospital bed, wheelchair, making wills, funeral arrangements etc.
We are looking for any donations anyone is willing to give at this time. In just 7 days our world has been flipped upside down and everyone is overwhelmed and trying their hardest to do what they can.
You can donate here: DONATE If you can’t donate, please reblog and pass this on to others.  100% of jewellery sales & portions of extension sales from my online shop will also go towards helping my parents as well. Thank you for reading <3

Update: My mother is in the hospital currently (May 14th). She had her feeding tube and first session of radiation. She is currently in and out of consciousness as they have her on a ton of morphine and she was in a lot of pain yesterday after the feeding tube procedure. She has a tube going down her oesophagus out her nose and the tube is pressing against her cancer in the oesophagus.
I will be withdrawing and giving donations to my parents once a week to help out with any costs from that week. This past weekend has been a costly one as my dad is currently still working on installing the main floor washroom for her for when she is out of the hospital.
Reblog &/ donate for us! Thank you all!! <3

Owning a Raven is a lot of work, in America African Ravens & crows are legal to own. I’ve interacted with companion ravens before and they are fantastic. Seeing this incredible bird free flying and playing in the air while knowing he is keeping his eye on us and will come back.
